Destination Imagination

The goal of Destination Imagination is to give students the chance to learn and experience the creative process from imagination to innovation. The process integrates Bloom's Taxonomy, the scientific method, 21st century skills, collaborative problem solving, the stages of practical inquiry, and whole child education. 
This year we had five 4th graders and four 5th graders participate. Their names are the following:
4th grade: Samuel Da'Vila, Kooper Arrington, Gabriella Mata, Keeley Seal, and Samantha Kelley
5th: Jace Himes, Rachael Davis, Miya Wormley, Shelby Brown. 
This year our students participated in the Top Secret Challenge and placed 3rd at the Central Regional Tournament, qualifying them to go on to state competition that will take place at the University of Alabama Huntsville on April 15
